Renee & Lucy Top Women We Love Poll
Renee and Lucy finished 1 & 2 on the final Women We Love
Poll on Lesbianation. But they've also apparently been
retired for the moment as they are both absent from the
January poll. Xena fans still have candidates they may wish
to vote for, while trying to get Renee and Lucy back on the
list. Gina Torres, Kathryn Morris and Katee Sackhoff
are now among the choices, which also include Queen Latifah,
Annie Lennox, Kate Winslet, Marlee Matlin, Sharon Isbin,
Selma Hayek and Tina Fey.

Battlestar Galactica Movie Straight to DVD
No news if Lucy will be featured as D'anna Biers but
interesting news
- TV News: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MIGHT GET 2 HOUR
STRAIGHT TO DVD MOVIE Telefilm would take place between
seasons 3 & 4
THE SKINNY: Even though this season has not been the
strongest for BATTLESTAR GALACTICA on the SCI FI
Channel, it looks like all of the critical praise,
awards, and DVD sales are amounting to something.
According the site www.geekmonthly.com a two-hour
telefilm has been proposed for BSG that would be filmed
before the start of season four.

For those reading who remember that wonderful series The
Bionic Woman with Lindsay Wagner, it's going to get the
David Eick treatment (David being the producer of Battlestar
Galactica)
NBC has given a cast-contingent pilot order to a reimagined
version of the 1970s TV series The Bionic Woman, from
Battlestar Galactica producer David Eick, Variety
reported. Eick is co-writing and co-producing the project
with Laeta Kalogridis (The Dive).
Eick has said that he's been combing through the library at
Universal, where his production company is based, to find
another title to revive following Battlestar. The
original version of The Bionic Woman—a spinoff of
The Million Dollar Man— starred Lindsay Wagner as a
woman whose body is mechanically enhanced to save her life.

Calli's Creations Joins AUSXIP
Network
I'm very pleased to announce that
Calli's Creations has come under the AUSXIP Network
umbrella. Calli is such a talented graphic artist and her

What does this mean for the site?

Lucy Radio Interview - Hollywood Confidential
 Lucy
was on Leeza Gibbons' radio show Hollywood Confidential this
weekend (31 December 2006) about her upcoming concerts.
There's a very interesting comment about the possibility of
a Xena movie - Lucy didn't want to reveal too much but she
did say there's a 50/50 chance of a movie! Lucy's song Come
to Me is also played at the start of the interview. mp3

interviewed for the New Zealand show In Depth. Interviewer
Jo Giles interviews Lucy about her one day job at
Coupeland's Bakery, Lucy's charity work and delves into the
life of Lucy Lawless. Lucy talks about her start in showbiz
and how she was "discovered" after creating a very funny
skit, her Xena days and the horse accident on the Jay Leno
Show, her wardrobe malfunction. She talks about Daisy and
the boys and how they got their names, her love for Rob, her
miscarriage and her singing and acting work. A fascinating
interview. Interview Length: 30 minutes.

Lucy Mention - Universal Lawsuit

E Online 26 December 2006 Kevin Sorbo has lost his
suit against Universal. Part of the actor's lawsuit
against Universal Studios, in which he claimed he was
entitled to 8 percent of the grosses from the syndicated
television show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, or,
about $5 million, has been dismissed. Los Angeles
Superior Court Judge Robert Hess granted Universal's
motion to have the case thrown out Thursday after ruling
that there were insufficient facts to support Sorbo's
claim of fraud.... Lucy Lawless also sued Universal
then, claiming she was owed five percent of the take for
playing reformed warlord Xena on the Hercules spin-off,
which ran from 1995 to 2000. The New Zealand-born actor
has since reached a settlement with the studio.
