TV's Xena: The Warrior Princess - aka raven-haired siren Lucy Lawless - is said to be devastated at missing Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade. Lawless, whose character is a lesbian icon, was a VIP guest for the parade. But alas, a last-minute emergency - a broken camera delayed shooting schedules - left her stranded in Los Angeles and unable to fly to Sydney in time. "She was devastated," a Network Ten report said. "She felt so flattered by the gesture, she really wanted to be here to see it and support it."
