Actress Lucy Lawless didn’t have any experience with martial arts before she got the role of the warrior Xena in the series. That will be different now. The warrior Xena is an expert in karate and is almost an acrobat. The throws with her chakram, a round discus which is sharp as a razor blade, are deadly.

She doesn’t have many bad sides, except for her past as a leader of a group of thugs. But Xena repented (?) and now fights against evil. In that battle she’s accompanied by her ‘fight buddy’ Gabrielle, played by Renee O’Connor
