XENAVERSE REFRESHES CAMPAIGN -
The Xenaverse once again showed how much we valued the creative team behind
Xena; our writers. Donations for drinks, lipbalm, refreshements and other
goodies were donated on behalf of Xena fans for the strikers which included
Katherine Fugate, Steven Sears, Liz Friedman and other Xena writers. This fandom
raised $2005.00 to keep the campaign going for the entire length of the strike!
For a show that has been off the air for 7 years...it's quite an achievement.
The Xenaverse Drop-Off Elf delivered these refreshments every week and your
contributions made it all possible. AUSXIP INTERVIEWS XENA CAST
LUCY LAWLESS (XENA)
Lucy Lawless, star of Xena Warrior Princess and now Battlestar Galactica
graciously agreed to be interviewed in between working on the Adam Sandler
movie "Bedtime Stories" and preparing for her UK Concert debut in London
next month. Since I personally love The Actor's Studio...we did our own
version with Lucy. It's a wide ranging interview covering a great many
topics including Lucy's expections for her acting career, being challenged
for her role on Darkroom, what the fans mean to her, her singing, acting
again with Renee O'Connor in Bitch Slap and her upcoming movie Bedtime
Stories. Lucy at her most candid best.
Renee was gracious enough to give AUSXIP reporter Christa and her sidekick Ruth a video interview for the site. It's a wide ranging interview covering a great many topics including working on Boogeyman, Ghost Town, her thoughts on her co-workers over the years in various movies and some stories. Her thoughts about living in New Zealand, what Xena taught her and other topics. The interview is 15 minutes in length and it's Renee at her most candid. Many thanks to Renee for taking the time for this interview and for being so candid.
