New Shows That Look Interesting

It's that time of year when new shows start to blossom and maybe become huge hits or total flops. I've been going through some of them and here are my "I think I'm going to watch" list

BODY OF PROOF
(Reason: Oh this is a keeper. Not only does it have Jeri Ryan (Seven of 9 from Voyager) but it also has Dana Delany! Wow in the same cast. Watch this!)
Cast: Geoffrey Arend, Nick Bishop, Dana Delany, John Carroll Lynch, Windell D. Middlebrooks, Jeri Ryan
Logline: When a brilliant and driven neurosurgeon's career is cut short, she turns her unrivaled medical skills toward solving murders. Every body has a story to tell and Dr. Megan Hunt will find out what it is.

DETROIT 187
(Reason: Erin Cummings...Sura from Spartacus Blood and Sand and Bitch Slap)
Cast: D.J. Cotrona, Erin Cummings, Jon Michael Hill, Aisha Hinds, Michael Imperioli, Shaun Majumder, Natalie Martinez, James McDaniel
Logline: What does it take to be a detective on America's most dangerous streets? Get ready to be part of the action when a documentary crew rolls with some of Detroit's finest.

BLUE BLOODS
(Reason: Tom Selleck)
Cast: Flex Alexander, Len Cariou, Will Estes, Dylan Moore, Bridget Moynahan, Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg
Logline: A dramatic series centering on three generations of an Irish Catholic family who are all involved in New York City law enforcement.

HARRY'S LAW
(Reason: Kathy Bates - ANYTHING with Kathy in it is a must)
Cast: Aml Ameen, Kathy Bates, Ben Chaplin, Brittany Snow
Logline: Harriet is a curmudgeonly ex-patent lawyer who’s looking for a fresh start. She meets Malcolm, a young man trying to figure out life. Matthew, a former high school teacher and dreamer, meets Harriet through Malcolm, a previous student of his. One thing leads to another, and soon the three are starting a law practice in the most unlikely of places—a rundown shoe store.

NIKITA
(Reason: Melinda Clarke - Velaska! Enough said)
Cast: Xander Berkeley, Melinda Clarke, Lyndsy Fonseca, Tiffany Hines, Maggie Q, Aaron Stanford, Shane West
Logline: A drama about a government intelligence agency seeking operatives who must sever ties with all friends and family. Operatives train to be highly embedded, invisible assassins on board for life. When
the legendary Nikita escapes this unit, a replacement must be trained to take her place and take her out.

UNDERCOVERS
(Reason: I'm having Scarecrow and Mrs. King flashbacks...)
Cast: Jessica Parker Kennedy, Boris Kodjoe, Carter MacIntyre, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Gerald McRaney, Ben Schwartz
Logline: Outwardly, Steven Bloom and his wife Samantha are a typical married couple. Secretly, they were two of the CIA’s best spies until they fell in love and retired. When they’re thrust back into
espionage, they realize the supercharged lifestyle provides the excitement their marriage lacks.

BLEEP MY DAD SAYS
(Reason: It sounds iffy but it's got Bill and that's enough for me...William Shatner is adorable)
Cast: Ryan Devlin, Stephanie Lemelin, Will Sasso, William Shatner, Nicole Sullivan
Logline: A multi-camera comedy series based on a Twitter feed by 29-year-old Justin Halpern about his
experience living with his 73-year-old dad. Noting his dad's wealth of opinions on a variety of subjects,
Halpern started Tweeting.

Red Alert Hack Attack

Hi folks,

I know alot of fans have blogs that are run by wordpress and / or hosted on Dreamhost, GoDaddy, Yahoo and others.

I came across this article that you might be interested in. This sounds alot like the AUSXIP Hack Attack of May 2009 which infected the entire AUSXIP server but with a wordpress spin to it. It just needs one site on a shared server which is an open door and then for all them to be vulnerable and let the hacker in.

If you have been infected go here to find the solution
http://blog.sucuri.net/2010/05/new-attack-today-against-wordpress.html

It's not pretty (having been through this last May) and it's downright infuriating.

Large-scale attack on WordPress

According to various reports, in the past few days a number of websites created using WordPress have been hacked. While the attack initially appeared to be limited to web sites hosted by American ISP DreamHost, it has since become apparent that blogs hosted at GoDaddy, Bluehost and Media Temple have also been affected. Unconfirmed reports by WPSecurityLock suggest that other PHP-based management systems, such as the Zen Cart eCommerce solution, have also been targeted.

The hacked web pages appear to have been infected with scripts, which not only install malware on users' systems, but also prevent browsers like Firefox and Google Chrome, which use Google's Safe Browsing API, from issuing an alert when users try to access the page. When Google's search bot encounters such a specially crafted page, the page responds by simply returning harmless code. This camouflage strategy takes advantage of the browser switch normally used by developers to return browser specific code to suit functional variations in different browser, such as Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Experts are currently still puzzled over which hole was actually exploited for the large-scale attack. The only thing that seems certain at this point is that the problem didn't originate in WordPress, because if this was the case considerably more pages would have been infected. However, opinions differ as to whether the security hole only affects older WordPress versions: While Chief Information Security Officer Todd Redfoot explicitly advises that customers update to the most recent WordPress version, David Dede's "Sucuri Security" blog unequivocally states that pages created with the latest version of WordPress have also been infected.

Dede says that he has posted a simple and effective method for decontaminating affected web sites on his blog.
