Was that the best hour of television I have seen in a long time or what! I'm going to go into super fan girl mode here (as opposed to normal fan girl mode) and say: WHAT ABSOLUTELY FRAKKING BRILLIANT PIECE OF TELEVISION! The revenge, the betrayal, the glory, the gory bits EVERYTHING is just frakking brilliant. In my opinion the finds of the series were Dustin Clare and Jessica Grace Smith. We will see Dustin again in Season 2 as Gannicus but alas Jessica's Diona is now longer of this world. Watch for Jessica Grace Smith; she's got a bright future ahead of her. Read More     26 February 2011 Student Volunteer Army Helping Out in Christchurch - Video I saw this on the news and captured it. It's about a huge volunteer army of university students volunteering to clear out the muck caused by the earthquake in Christchurch. Sadly the number of dead has risen and it's just so gut wrenching to watch the news but this is a great news story amidst the sad news. What a great bunch of young men and women! Sears on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 6:27am Just heard from Michael and Jennifer; They are safe and fine, though their families are under "considerable stress". Michael was in Christchurch just last week. The aftershocks continue minute to minute. Everyone is very very worried and rescue teams are working around the clock. I told them that everyone was sending their hopes and wishes toward the Kiwis and asked what we could do. As Jennifer wrote: "Yes, donations to Red Cross a good idea. We are really wondering if CHCH can bounce back from this. Please thank the fans for their thoughts and prayers." Update on Darien Tackle 22 February 2011 Darien was in Christchurch for her play Midnight in Moscow - we haven't heard how she is. If you know can you please let me know! Barbara Davies has heard from the Midnight in Moscow production office and they said their actors have gotten out but no word on how Darien is. Update on Calli (Linda Callaghan) - posted on FB 22 February 2011 Spoke to Linda Callaghan and she is fine. Cannot get car and working out how to get home. Letting her friends know. Her dad is fine, he called us first to tell us about the earthquake.
