June 2011 Archives   30 June 2011 Lucy on Waiheke Island New Zealand!!! Hey folks, For the last week I've been on holidays in New Zealand and yesterday found Jo and I on the 40 minute ferry ride across from Auckland to Waiheke Island. We have been having a glorious time. Waiheke is famous for it's wine and it's also a great place to unwind. We stayed at this B&B that is just near the bay. The place is called Iluka and run by this wonderful couple Kathy and John. By this stage you are probably wondering why I chose the title of this blog post...yes I found Lucy at Iluka B&B! Woo! She is looking mighty fine, gorgeous eyes and simply adorable. Hands up all those who now think I'm talking about our Lucy...I know what you're all thinking. No I didn't meet Lucy in Iluka on Waiheke. We met Lucy the Jack Russell Terrier who was simply GORGEOUS. Very affectionate at dinner and at breakfast I had her eating out of my hand...that bacon sure went fast! Plenty of Lucy time and hugs (just in time for the convention). Jo was having a great time playing Cesar Milan...Jo the Dog Whisperer. Wonder what she thought of the 6'2 adorable giant and the 5'1 midget...it's quite a sight. Hey folks, I'm taking a few weeks off and recharging my batteries, try to finish my third novel in the Eva and Zoe series (won't my publisher be happy) and basically just relax on my winter holidays! YEAY! Yes it's my annual "let's-see-how-long-Mary-goes-without-touching-the-sites-and-driving-Lori-and-Mesh-crazy" :) I may be taking a break but AUSXIP will continue to update you all on all things related to our favourite show/s and fave actors. Whilst I'm away getting my batteries recharged, Lori and Mesh will take over the reigns of updating everyone! I'm stoked that Channel 9 in Australia is going to be making a mini series out of it called Underbelly: Razor. Dolly is touring Australia! Damn, I've been waiting for her to tour down under for such a long time and finally she's coming! I've been a Dolly Parton fan since I was 8 years old and I have always wanted to see her live. I remember writing my first short story to one of her songs! Now that is going back a bit. As you may have guessed, I'm a tad excited! The Plastic Fantastic is going to be out and ready on 20 June at 9 am when tickets go on sale!
