Julia Voth featured as Girl2Watch of 2010

The Girl2Watch site focusing on connecting Actresses and Entertainment in Social Media is featuring Bitch Slap's angelic Julia Voth on their page this week.

The site showcases images and a Bitch Slap related interview with Julia, as well as fun facts and trivia. Did you know that Julia was the face of Resident Evil's Jill Valentine?

From the editor: "We kick off 2010 with Julia Voth from Bitch Slap. I interviewed Julia on the 24th floor of a building in LA, and there was a small earthquake during our interview. As the building shook back and forth, Julia remained remarkably calm, and even laughed about the situation. I guess all her years in Tokyo served her well. Check out our profile, Introducing Julia Voth, then Fun Facts in her own words."

Annual Pilgrimage and Site News

It's that time of year again...

I hope 2010 brings everyone joy, a wealth of friends and great times which leads me to my next topic - I'm heading to the snow!

I'm going on my annual pilgrimage to the US and handing my babies over to Mesh who will be looking after the sites in my absence. Mesh can be found at mesh @ ausxip.org

Please send any articles, scans, fanfic, reports, photos etc to Mesh. Hopefully I will send in some convention reports plus pictures whilst at the convention.

I'm off to the snow and escaping Sydney's summer heat. Yeay!

Enjoy!

AUSXIP Video News - New Video Player

Many thanks to those that sent in their thoughts about the new site, it's always cool to get feedback.

I've incorporated a new player into the video section. Now if you don't have the Microsoft Silverlight plugin in your browser, it will ask you to download it. After that you would be able to play the AUSXIP hosted videos quite smoothly. If you do have it, the video will run smoothly.

Many thanks to Jo, Kim and Lida for road testing the new video plugin (silverlight) that I will be using on the site for hosted videos. It should work on both Mac and PC after installation of the plugin.

Hope everyone has had a good new year's eve! Let's hope 2010 is a much better year for everyone.
