I am quite please to introduce a new bard. Her name is Linda Fiorella. She has written a fantastic story - still ongoing and it's an epic!

L. Fox has written a story that just had me sitting up and taking note...it involves Xena and Gabrielle but with the addition of a character that was (and still is) a role model for me. Her name was Deborah - A Hebrew Prophetess with double the wisdom of Solomon and enormous courage. The story also mentions another courageous woman - Jael - now there was one fearless woman! Both of these women are on the top of my all time favorite heroes :-)

Magazine Alert: TV Week (Australia) has some Christmas stickers...there is one of Xena. Only one unfortunately. Nice pic of Xena.

Magazine Alert: NZ Woman's Day has photos of Lucy & Rob, Lucy, Rob and Daisy from the TV Guide Awards. There is also a photo of Lucy's hands showing her wearing nail polish that only covers 1/2 of each of her nails (maybe Lucy is trying to set a new fashion statement..or she ran out of nail polish ;-)

GOLF FASHION REPORT: No I'm not giving you all a golf report...I don't even understand the game - I'm a cricket fan (yeah Aussies!) Oh yeah back to the report. Lucy didn't talk, she looked pretty - long leather jacket, black pants and pigtails...she looked nice.

This is going to be great! For those in the US - set those VCRs and for those not in the US...well we'll suffer and then beg like crazy for a copy :-) For what's its worth...I've already done my begging :-) I'm a happy little vegemite. "Dreamwatch" Nov '98 - 50th Anniversary Issue - includes a FREE 1999 Calendar (no Xena pics...sorry) which has a J. Ryan pic, X-Files (both GA & DD) pic, Aliens 4, etc...pretty nice. Hey! Mag includes an "Alien Voices" article! :-) You say, "Hey! What about Xena!" Well, look to pg 58 and WHAMO!!! LOTS of Xena pics!! 4 pages worth!! 8-D I counted 17!! It's a Season 3 Xena Guide. One large gorgeous Xena pic from "When in Rome" (gold/red headgear and red dress). Page 78 you get a short review on "Xena Trading Card Game Deck" w/pic of "Heroic Deeds" Deck.

"TV Zone" Issue #108 - major coverage and on set interviews of Voyager's 100th episode and 4th season previews. On page 75 get small 1999 Xena Calendar pic and brief review. listed and US airdates. "A Xena/Gabrielle crossover tale in 3-D is planned." Page 11 get "Xena" Season 4 ep titles and air dates. Page 11 "Young Hercules" 1st Season ep titles and air dates. LOTS of other TV show titles/air dates. Page 5 one sentence regarding future Xena merchandise. "Encore will be bringing out a Herc/Xena DVD, date and title to be announced."
Inserted in "TV Zone" mag was a catalog called, "Sci-Fi News" - LOTS of Xena merchandise. Lots of stuff we've seen. One note is that they say they "might be the only remaining European stock" of Xena II 6" dolls left.

SciFi TV December 1998 issue #2 - has complete episode guides for seasons 1-4 of HTLJ and seasons 1-3 of XWP. They give the writer and director for each episode of each show as well as a brief synopsis of each episode. On page 14 of this same magazine, there is a Herc/Xena TV show and merchandise updates. There's a lot of other stuff in the Magazine too that's not H or X related The magazine is devoted to SciFi TV. It's new from the folks at Starlog.

SFX #44 November 1998 - British 2 page XWP interview. One of the pages is of Xena as Princess Diana. Full page, beautiful, Baby Blues and all! The article is an SFX profile. In it LL states that if she has too, she'll play Xena pregnant! I found it an interesting interview. Well worth the price ($7.50 US dollars and about $10 Australian) if for the full page pic alone.

I know this has nothing to do with Xena but there is a letter going around about Young Herk that I would like to address. Click here to read the message.
Folks this is the latest info I got:

George Strayton has assured WHOOSH that Young Hercules is not in danger of being cancelled, that the time change was made on behalf of the sponsors for PowerRangers and Tirna Nog because they wanted to promote those shows through Christmas, and that an eager YH producer just wanted fans to participate in the FoxKids popularity contest and got a tad carried away and melodramatic. According to George, YOUNG HERCULES is safe and they are anticipating a renewal.

Many thanks to Lunacy for the following information! The 11 tape set costs $149.85 + $12.95 for shipping/handling. The first season is available for the same price if you haven't ordered that yet or you can get both sets for $269.85 + $14.95 for shipping/handling. Like the first season episodes, the second season comes in a collector's case - looks cool - a funky green with a few shots of Xena and one little one of the bard.

A case of deja vu last night as I sat down and rewatched Sins of the Past as the show premiered on Foxtel (cable company here in Oz). I love this show (you couldn't tell could you?) ;-) It's been nearly 2 years since I sat down and watched it and was converted to the Xenaverse! I want to say a special thank you once again to three friends that really wanted me to watch this show - Xero, Maureen & Lise!
The Advocate recently voted Lucy as one of the most coolest people - Many thanks to Diana for the scan! Now this news is old hat to us 'cause we already know that Lucy is cool :-) A class act.

On E! Weekend, Renee said that Gabrielle "may be a ghost". Folks I don't think anyone should panic :-) This interview was conducted before A Family Affair airred - E! Weekend obviously didn't suspect what impact it would have. During that time TPTB wanted everyone to keep mum about Gabrielle's fate. Also ghosts don't get footroot and get sick from lousy cooking!
