She may have given birth to her second child just months ago, but super-fit Lucy, 31, is already back in tiptop condition.

As Xena. Warrior Princess, the tough talking and even toughter acting star knows the value of keeping healthy, "Xena's an all-action girl, and I have to stay fit and in great shape so I can keep up with her" Lucy says.

As befits any warrior princess, Lucy shuns regular exercise like aerobics,, Instead preferring to take strenous kickboxing lessons. She discovered the sport three years ago while building up strength after falling off a horse and breaking her pelvis.

"I increased my swimming, and I sued dumb-bells made specially for use in water," she says. But kickboxing and yoga classes really helped. "I built up my toelrance to pain, and was once again able to do any stunt that came my way."

With all that exercise, Lucy says she can't get by without three hearty meals a day. "My favourite is lamb shanks. I eat alot of meat and vegies I grow myself, because it helps heal the kind of bruises I get in the show."
