I can’t believe it’s been 24 years since those horrendous attacks on 9/11 ended the lives of innocent people doing their jobs at 8:30 am. September 11, 2001 was a spectacular, beautiful sunny day. I was looking forward to going with my friend Xero to Niagara Falls.

Every year I post two pieces of art. One is by Lucia Nobrega (See below) and The Pocket Watch by Cheyne Curry (have a tissue box handy)

The terrorist attacks killed 2,977 people from 90 nations: of those, 2,753 people were killed in New York City; 184 people were killed at the Pentagon, and 40 people were killed on Flight 93. If not for the heroism of the passengers on Flight 93, the death toll would have been higher. They brought down the plane so that others would have a chance to not get murdered. First responders are still dying from the debris they inhaled. The death toll from 9/11 continues to rise.
