Penny Cavanaugh has posted the following about Kim:

Our dear friend Kim is no longer with us. A shining light of sweetness who brightened our lives, Kim will now twinkle with the stars as she watches over us. Kim was a devoted friend and Xenite – a hardcore nutball through and through. She was always one of the first ones to give whatever she could and she was always the first one at the Xenite Softball games in her bright green Potidaea shirt, making sure the players were well hydrated with the liquor of their choice (at 8am!!). Most of us cannot recall a time when she wasn’t smiling (unless her friends’ songs weren’t being played at Karaoke night – and then Kim had something to say about it!!).

Kim was a warrior for the greater good, an advocate of love and kindness, and a truly special friend. She will be dearly missed and we will hold her memory in our hearts forever.
