Love At First Sight or Always Meant To Be

As a bard I have heard, read and told the stories about love at first sight. I never thought it would happen to me though. But one day when Draco's men tried to capture me and the people of my village she appeared. Xena fought off easily fought off those warriors, and saving us. One look into her beautiful blue eyes and I knew I had to be by her side forever.
I have to admit that I'm a bit of a cynic when it comes to love. I've heard the stories of true love, but never really believed in those that said they happened at first sight. Those most likely had the interference of the gods. But me belief changed the day I saw her. Gabrielle was brave confronting Draco's men. Her spirit touched me. Before I knew it I had lost my heart to her. And I know I want to have her in my life forever.
It's my job to bring people together. I pride myself on my pairings. And I take great joy when they last a lifetime. But there is a pairing that I cannot take credit for. My arrows were never needed. It is one that was always meant to be. This one will go far beyond a lifetime. For Xena and Gabrielle are true soulmates joined forever.
