Bards In Print - KG MacGregor News
Announcement from KG MacGregor:

Remember the Shaken series? The first story, Without Warning, was published by Bella Books last January, and the second, Aftershock, is due out next month. In the old days, I dreamed my uber-Xena stories would be made into movies starring our heroines, but that prospect is looking pretty grim these days. What's looking good, though, is Anna & Lily on the stage in Hollywood, brought to you by longtime Xena...er, make that Gabrielle fan Deejae Cox, the executive director of the Los Angeles Women's Theatre Project!

On Sunday, September 7th, the LAWTP is staging an excerpt from Aftershock, along with selections from authors Lisa Girolami & Gabrielle Goldsby, as part of its 20% New Works Festival. Lisa & I will be onhand at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood (4 p.m.) for a Q&A and book signing, and we would love to see your smiling faces there. No, they weren't able to land Lucy or Renee for the parts, but if you'll head over to www.kgmacgregor.com, look on the Events page and you'll see the two actresses who will bring Anna & Lily to life.

Xena fans can also catch Robert Trebor (Salmoneus) on stage at the Festival. Hope to see you there!

Xena’s return to life “pure” at the end of the Season Five opener FALLEN ANGEL forces her and others to grapple with personal issues beyond their mission to prevent the war gods Ares and Kal from getting their hands on the “light” chakram in the follow-up episode. This story also makes reference to the later SEEDS OF FAITH.

Bards In Print News - KG MacGregor

Book Announcement from KG MacGregor

Secrets So Deep is now available from Bella Books. It’s a courtroom drama set in Washington, DC, and has a little something for everyone—suspense, romance, sweaty sheets…and this one marks my first (and I hope not my last) opportunity to work with renowned lesbian fiction author Katherine V. Forrest as my editor. For more information, including Chapter 1, please visit
www.kgmacgregor.com.

Since assuming her late husband’s congressional seat, Glynn Wright has led a quiet life of devoted service and motherhood, earning a reputation as a dependable soldier in her party.

When her sixteen-year-old son Sebby tries to take his own life, Glynn is prepared to sacrifice everything to save him—including the revelation of her past relationships with women, a move that would likely mean the end of her political career and estrangement from her family.

One by one, Sebby’s secrets spill with devastating consequences for Glynn. Even Charlotte, Sebby’s psychiatrist, suffers from the fallout as her faith in Glynn—and the growing attraction they can’t resist—puts her at odds with her profession. Together, they search for the only thing that can save them—the truth about Glynn’s husband’s tragic death.
