THIRTY YEARS. Can you believe it’s going to be THIRTY YEARS in 2025 since the birth of our favourite show on 4 September 1995? Seriously!
Well, Creation Entertainment does! Their first Xena convention was held on 11-12 January 1997 – Lucy’s first convention right after she recovered from her accident on the Jay Leno Show and boy did the fans come out! Year after year we celebrated this show and frankly the conventions were family get-togethers; don’t mind the guests, we came to meet up with our friends.
At the 2024 Xena con, Creation announced a three day convention at our favourite con hotel the Burbank Marriott on January 31 to February 2, 2025. Nothing is ready to announce as far as guests but I think we have a good idea of who is going to be there but get ready for the Horde to descend on Burbank from all over the world because it’s going to be a PARTY of mega proportions.
I will be booking my flights as soon as possible and the excitement begins. 14 hours from Sydney to LA? Piece of cake!
