Anything For A Dinar Newsletter

Yesterday I was going through a packet of CDs I recently bought at an auction (Adrienne's Official Charity Auction). The CDs were Anything For a Dinar. They were so cool I figure I would let you all know about them (if you didn't already know!)

There's so much great stuff out there done by some seriously talented fans. This fandom is truly blessed with gifted/talented people.

Here's the info about Anything for a Dinar off the official Facebook Page.

Anything for a Dinar is a fan-created, unofficial guide to Xenabilia supplied on CD-ROM.

Ever since the hugely popular TV series Xena Warrior Princess first aired in 1995, the show has spawned a HUGE array of memorabilia, from photos to comics, trading cards to clothing, replica props to novels.

With on average 60 full colour pages per issue, AFAD serves as a complete guide to all Xenaverse Collectables!

You can find out more by following the link above and clicking on one of the AFAD listings.

It's Mission

To thoroughly catalogue in detail every type of Xena merchandise available, from common items to rarities and one-offs. This is a labour of love from an obsessive fan who wanted a reference to Xenabilia and couldn't find one!

AFAD believes in the concept of The Greater Good. Every issue of AFAD is non-profit. 100% of the cost goes straight to charity via eBay's Missionfish (UK) or eBay Giving Works (USA).

Charities which have benefited so far include Redwings Horse Sanctuary, the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds), The Woodland Trust (all UK) and Habitat for Humanity (USA), a charity Renee O'Connor has supported in the past.

If you would like to learn more about Xenabilia and support a charity at the same time, please purchase an issue of AFAD or contact me through eBay for more info!

Anything for a Dinar is released quarterly. Each issue averages 60 pages and is supplied as a PDF file on CD-ROM. There are eight issues available so far.

AFAD costs £4 per issue (approx $5.91 at current exchange rate) and is available through my eBay ID thebattlingbard - see the link under 'Website' above. EVERY SALE GOES STRAIGHT TO CHARITY! AFAD's very own website will be going live soon - watch this space!
