It's been a very sad day today with the news that we have lost two of our Xenite family: Cathy "CathBard" Liddicoat and Julie Sanges. I have updated the Xenite Memorial Page include Cathy and Julie to those we have lost over the years.

It is with great sadness, but even greater gratitude of a life well
lived---"Battling On!" till the end---that I write to tell you of the

She passed away today after a truly COURAGEOUS two and a half year
struggle w/ lung cancer #diagnosed at Stage 4, though Cath had never
smoked#.
Her passing is felt by her beloved family, her family at the Tavern

and her fans and friends throughout the wider Xenaverse.
Though we will miss her, our lives have been so enriched by life and
many gifts. As she gave to the Xenaverse, she also received: I know
Cath will want to extend a public thank you to Renee O'Connor, who
called Cath soon after her diagnosis in November 2008 and, while
regrettably got her answering machine, left a Cath a message which
strengthened her throughout her struggle. Cath's life was a tribute to
the Battlin' Bard she so admired, and the actress she respected #whom
she met at multiple Cons, and saw perform the Scottish Play#.
Tonight, our hearts are heavy---but our love is great. Rest in light,
Cath, as Warrior&Bard #Ever Real, Ever True# bear you unto your
eternal reward...

Dear Family and Friends,
We regret to inform you that our Aunt Julie (Julie Sanges) passed away last Saturday (March 12th).
She had been suffering with breathing problems for many years, as you know and, despite the fact that she’d recently spent her 80th birthday loved by family and friends near and far, her condition worsened at the beginning of the month and she died at home, exactly as she had hoped, in her sleep, with family at her side.
You will be happy to hear that her final few weeks were full of joy and daily talks with Joseph and me.
It is a great relief to know that as her condition worsened, She remained pain free and did not have to endure any suffering.
Aunt Julie wished that we each remember her privately. She did not want a memorial service.
