Video: Imagine All The People - A Song of Hope by James Gottfried

The following is from James Gottfried. The video is AMAZING. Please watch and share it.

I am happy to share with you the debut of the "IMAGINE ALL THE PEOPLE" music video! #imagineallthepeople

We are living in a very different world right now and we need human connection more than ever. So this project gathered 80 people together virtually to offer their voices of hope to those who feel isolated, sad, disconnected, alone, even those who are strong but could use the boost. This video contains a mashup of 4 songs that inspire togetherness, love, strength and camaraderie. As you watch this, sing with us, smile with us and know you are not alone. Share this so the whole world will know that there will be a tomorrow, that there is hope.

Special thanks to everyone who participated in this project! I hope this inspires other to engage in their own creative outlet!

After the Twilight of the Gods, the world is precariously uncertain – and Xena and Gabrielle have been missing from it for twenty-five years. Even without Livia, the power of Rome is growing: Caesar is determined to conquer by lies what he can't conquer by force, and the people at its edges know what's coming. (All roads lead to Rome, and Rome is hunting.) Xena and Gabrielle scramble to stop him before they have to wage war against a man they once called a friend. But along the way, Xena will have to confront her past against a rogue band of women warriors, and Gabrielle, whose secret visions are becoming prophecy, will have to protect Xena – at any cost.

Xena Fan Fiction Update!

Xena Fanfic (New!)

  • Texbard is back with a series called The Between The Lines:
The Between the Lines series are short stories written in the first person, told from the viewpoint of one of the characters (usually Xena or Gabrielle, but occasionally others). These vignettes explore what happened in between the episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess. This story, 3:4 The Coming of Shadows, covers Xena’s thoughts after the third season episode, The Deliverer. It is currently posted to my io list: https://groups.io/g/Texbard (will eventually be at my Texbard website)

The entire series, up to this story, can be found here: http://www.texbard.com/xena-between-the-lines-series.html

  • Legends Legacy - #13 - Cupid's Arrow by T. Novan
Every parent's worse nightmare - their child grows up and dates. What happens when Xena and Gabrielle's daughter, the new Queen of the Amazons, falls in love (with a little help from Cupid and a stray arrow)? A rollicking good story!

Thanks to the generosity of last year's raffle winner for donating the book back to further the cause, I am once again able to raffle off a signed special edition (sold out online!) version of director/photographer T.J. Scott's In The Tub: The Special Edition (Revealed Version) - Volume 1 limited edition, museum quality coffee table book. Originally sold to raise funds for breast cancer research, this special edition extends the number of the photos and also includes the nude images. The book is huge and beautiful, and the photos are SPECTACULAR. This is a photography book of actors, artists, musicians, and others using a bathtub as the common canvas for the photograph.

There will be a maximum of 125 tickets available for purchase at a price of $50 per ticket. There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase. Each ticket is equal to one chance. Anyone who purchases 9 tickets will automatically get a 10th ticket free! Funds from the sale of raffle tickets will go to benefit a family struggling with medical costs.

ABOUT THE BOOK: T.J. Scott has been behind the lens as director of numerous television series, including XENA and SPARTACUS. After his mother's fourth round with breast cancer found its way to her bones and lungs, T.J. decided to wage his own war on cancer the only way he knew how - by raising funds. He donated his unwavering artistic eyes and all of the actors, musicians and celebrities donated their time to this title created strictly to raise funds for breast cancer research. Each person was photographed in his/her own unique manner in a tub. The "Revealed" version of In the Tub will be limited to 1000 copies worldwide and be revealing just a little bit more in its additional fifty pages. As with the standard version, 100% of the profits will be donated to charity. (Amazon.com)

The book is autographed by the following individuals:

  • Adrienne Wilkinson (Livia / Eve - Xena)
  • Renee O'Connor (Gabrielle - Xena)
  • Brittney Powell (Brunnhilda - Xena)

Comfort TV For Your Coronavirus Quarantine - Xena (Of Course!)

The coronavirus is making Netflix and quarantine into the new Netflix and chill. Google, IBM, Microsoft and loads of other companies are encouraging employees to work from home. If you’re one of these lucky few, we know you’ll be diligently typing from 9 to 5 even if you’re in PJs or a birthday suit. Commutes suck, but working from home can make you go a little stir crazy.

Normally, popping out to a coffee shop or bar would keep you from feeling like a modern digital hermit. However, sipping a latte through a straw while wearing a respirator isn’t a great look. If you’re feeling cooped up and stressed out but can’t leave the house, a marathon of your favorite TV shows may be the best medicine. Besides, your boss will never know. Here’s a list of 10 of the best bingeable comfort TV series to help you keep calm and carry on.

'Xena: Warrior Princess'

Lucy Lawless dominated TV, the ancient world and our adolescent sex fantasies in six glorious seasons of Xena: Warrior Princess. It may be campy and so '90s, but between Sam Rami’s humor, the incredible guest stars and that kiss, you’ll be watching this one on repeat no matter what happens with the coronavirus.

5 TV spin-offs that eclipsed their originals Including Xena!

From 'Frasier' to 'The Simpsons', we'd argue that several spin-offs have surpassed their predecessors. If you go back through the history of the small-screen, we’d argue that several spin-offs have surpassed their predecessors. Here’s our pick.

ImageXena: Warrior Princess

Just like the aforementioned Frasier, Xena was only supposed to have a brief tenure on television. In fact, the original intention was for her to appear as a villain in just three episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys’ first season. It didn’t take long for its creators to see the massive potential in the character, though.

Not only did they turn her into a hero over this three episode arc, but work immediately began on the spin-off series, Xena: Warrior Princess, which debuted less than a year after Hercules’ pilot. The six seasons and 134 episodes of Xena went on to make much more of a cultural impact, too. Thanks to the help of its devout fanbase, star Lucy Lawless became an icon, it was followed by its own comic-book series, and was a huge influence in the direction of other television series, especially when it came to the depiction of female characters.
