    This is a sorrowful tale of the aging Amazon Queen saying farewell to her consort. Xena's final words via a scroll got to me. It's beautifully written. Set to the lyrics of the Celine Dion song "Because You Loved Me." Have a box of Kleenex handy.

    I love Della Street's work and this little tale is just too cute for words. Poor Xena has hurt her back. Just when she and Gabrielle were finding out what everyone out there in subtext land already knew! She is under orders to stay put in bed by the Amazon healer. Doing this is a tough job—a cute story.

Grey's Anatomy

  • I've been a GA fan since Season 1 Episode 1. OMG. How does this show do it! Greys Anatomy S17 Ep1&2 - hitting it out of the park! I avoid spoilers like it's COVID so there was a great deal of yelling in that final scene of episode 2. So much screaming of pure joy. OH. MY. GOD. These episodes made me a little emotional. BRILLIANT writing and the acting - it takes effort to act with your eyes the way these people have done. JUST PURE BRILLIANCE. Watch the show!

The Crown

  • I've been counting down the days when The Crown Season 4 would be ready to binge. Yesterday, it happened. If you have not watched The Crown, may I suggest you go over to Netflix and watch the first three seasons before you get to Season 4. I LOVE this show (I'm a huge Queen Elizabeth II fan, not a Royalty fan but her Majesty is worthy of people's respect. She's been on the throne for 60+ years. Season 4 looks at the 1980's with Margaret Thatcher (played by the AMAZING Gillian Anderson - a masterstroke casting Gillian in this role. After seeing the first episode, you will see what I mean. Olivia Coleman is Elizabeth. Love her in that role. The young Elizabeth was played by the brilliant Claire Foy. The Royal Family is is as dysfunctional as any normal family can be. My favourites are Elizabeth, her sister Margaret and Princess Anne. Watch the show!

It's another sad day in the Xenaverse - We have lost an Amazon Elder - Candy Corey Freeman passed away on November 13, 2020.
Candy lost her battle with that dreaded beast, Cancer.

'Say not in grief 'she is no more' but live in thankfulness that she was'

I've been working with Arielle Strauss Brueland and XV Podcasters on my first audiobook! I have a free audiobook sampler of the novel Enemy at the Gate that you can now download for free.
