In the 25th anniversary Xena: Their Courage Changed Our World book we featured the amazing talents of two extraordinary women, Lucier and Rose. The final typeset of the book was done to the soundtrack of the Xena Warrior Musical – inspiring and worthy of our legendary Xena and Gabrielle. I LOVED it. Here’s were some great news comes into play…Lucier and Rose have now created a Xena theatre show called Xena Warrior Musical The Lost Scroll – fully staged production complete with a NYC cast of thirteen. It features choreographed (including fight) scenes and a full band. The venue is located in Brooklyn and it’s called “3 Dollar Bill”.

What about those that can’t make it?
There will be a video recording of the show. In order to get the video recording done, it’s going to require at least $29,114. Normally AUSXIP doesn’t promote kickstarters BUT this a non-profit endeavour (which we do support). They have six days to get another $7,888 to get to that magic $29,114 and beyond.
As started on the site “Excess funds, should there be any, will be put directly into increasing the production value of the show and improving your experience of watching it later on film! An example of how excess funds might be used would be adding additional props or fight choreography to a scene that the budget previously did not allow for. These choices are fully at the discretion of the creators.”
