Angie Harmon, Noah Wyle & More to Celebrate 25 Years of TNT

Posted on: 24 July 2013

ImageTomorrow evening, at the Aqua Star Pool of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, cast members of your favorite TNT shows will be celebrating 25 years of great drama.

Angie Harmon of Rizzoli & Isles, Mary McDonnell of Major Crimes, Patrick Duffy of Dallas, Rachael Leigh Cook of Perception, Noah Wyle of Falling Skies, and many others will arrive on the red carpet and StarCam will be there to snag some exclusive interviews!

Turner Network Television first launched on October 3, 1988 with a telecast of Gone with the Wind. The classic 1939 film was chosen as the channel’s first program because it was Ted Turner’s favorite flick.

Older movies and television shows were the focus at first, but then TNT began adding original programming and newer reruns. In 2001, the network started emphasizing its dramatic programming, with such slogans as "We Know Drama" and "Drama, Period."

Check back here for interviews with your favorite TNT stars from the 25th Anniversary Party!
