A Queen's Sacrifice by BL Miller

I have known people who have dealt with rape to find this story cathartic and it's a realistic approach to the subject matter. BL Miller has written a very well thought out and thought provoking story that will tug at the heart strings and have you teary. It's a story of love and sacrifice. An excellent story

Blind Faith Restored by Zzelami

Way back in the second season there was an episode called Blind Faith - Xena is blinded in a fight and Gabrielle is taken to be the queen of a dead king. It was a fantastic episode reminiscent of many fanfic stories. The ending I thought needed something and Zzelami produced what I thought was the perfect ending to this episode. It's funny but yet very tender and the love that Xena and Gabrielle share shone through. I loved it the first time I read it and I still smile when I read it.

Blood Bond by D

This is an incredible epic love story - set after the events of FIN. It's the story of a quest, of a longing, of a desire to find Xena and Xena's quest to find Gabrielle. A magnificent story, well written that will keep you riveted to your seat (or in my case with my airline seatbelt fastened securley and the chair in the reclining position). We follow Gabrielle's journey as well as Xena's as they try and reunite. D has interwoven history throughout this story which for me as a history nut was incredible. Sit back and enjoy; this is a looooong story - it took me 12 hours on the flight from Oz to LA and LA to Oz to finish this baby. To borrow Lunacy's trademark...VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I absolutely loved this - it had one of my favourite wacky characters - Valaska (not as a god) in it and a great story dealing with Gabrielle as Queen of the Amazons. You can't go wrong with a story about Amazons, Xena's past and Gabrielle's decision about accepting the mask.

Changes of Heart Series by CN Winters

This series hasn't been completed yet but it's very interesting and quite well written. It picks up from where Motherhood left off and it hits home with issues that, as yet, haven't been dealt with on the show. Gabrielle and Xena need to talk and deal with the problems they have managed to get themselves into. A great read.

The Conqueror Series - Tale One - Journey's End by LJ Maas

I am quite excited by the new story by LJ Maas - it's a Conqueror piece. I'm not big on the Ruler of the Known World but with this one LJ has really kept me glued to my screen waiting for the next installment! LJ doesn't usually post in parts but she is doing it with this story. Folks this is unbelievably good. Xena is the Lord, Conqueror of Greece, but she is almost forty-five years old when she meets the slave, Gabrielle. The little slave girl turns the hardened warrior's life upside down. EXCELLENT story telling - LJ never disappoints in her storytelling.

The Conqueror Series - Tale Two - The Petal of the Rose by LJ Maas

The much anticipated sequel to Journey's End. I love this conqueror and her soon to be Queen. The arrival of Solan, Xena's son, brings new problems for the Lord Conqueror and the now free slave. This is one of the best stories set in the Conqueror genre that I've read. Don't miss this one.

This is truly an epic tale and I mean EPIC. Melissa Good weaves a tale of a danger to Greece from a mysterious medallion worn by a warlord intent on capturing Greece and the Warrior Princess. All the characters that many Missy Good fans have come to enjoy reading about are back in this novel and get set for one final bloody battle for the greater good! An excellent story. Well worth the time and effort.

She dealt with the issues that Xena and Gabrielle endured and crafted it into one of my all time favourites. Darkness Falls is about that journey back from Tartarus that Xena and Gabrielle took -- a look into a relationship that withstood the angst and the bitterness. An exceptional story

I thoroughly enjoying reading this Post FIN Fic story. It picks up from the time Gabrielle leaves Japa with Xena's ashes and takes them back home to Amphipolis. Armed with sacred scrolls and rituals to bring Xena back, it somehow doesn't happen the way she wanted and Xena is back on earth, as a ghost. Enlisting the help of gods and former enemies is going to be tricky but the story captures you and is a thoroughly enjoyable read. A wonderful resolution as well.

Wow I absolutely LOVED this short story by one of my favourite bards. Xena and Gabrielle enter a deserted Castle on a stormy night. Only problem is, it's not deserted and it's haunted. Gabrielle reaches out to this poor lost soul and Xena uses her own method to flush him out. EXCELLENT writing and storytelling!

This is two stories by LJ Maas about Xena and Gabrielle wanting to give each other something special for their anniversary. Xena regrets not telling Gabrielle how she felt about her and she let Gabrielle slip away from her and marry Perdicus. Xena wants to be Gabrielle's first lover so she goes into the dreamscape to alter Gabrielle's memories. A very touching and well written short story. In Happy Anniversary, Xena, Gabrielle decides it's time to give her wife a special memory of her own and as usually happens when Gabrielle is involved, not everything goes according to plan. Excellent storytelling by one of my favourite bards.
